Simile Learning Experience – created by 3rd-grade teacher, Jennifer Parisi
We are so excited to share this simile lesson plan based on Ellie and Lou – Gardeners of the Jungle.
This fun lesson plan gives young students a familiar introduction to similes.
Similes are a fun lesson when teaching about different types of figurative language.
In this lesson plan, which is adaptable for grades K-5, students use Ellie and Lou – Gardeners of the Jungle picture book and the provided resource to identify and generate similes in a variety of contexts.
